Joined the SP InterNations hiking group in a hike about 2.5 hours drive west of Sao Paulo. Near the village of Catuçaba we followed a mountain stream through the forest climbing up the hill and passing 7 waterfalls.
After a short stop at the 7th waterfall and a nearby cabin for cake, fruits and juice we continued uphill in the full sun. That is where I felt the energy draining away from me and had one of the toughest hikes in my life. Was even to tired to take pictures during the lovely (late) lunch but recoverd in a hangmat before we took the bus back to SP.
