After the new year's festivities my sister and I decided to start the year with a hike nearby her hometown. She picked me up from the train station at Veenendaal de Klomp and drove to Amerongen where we started with a lovely lunch.
This hike I felt really bad and not used to climb. We went from about 16 meters to 69 meters height ocver a distance of 2 kilometers and it was tough for me although the 2nd climb to the lonely tree from 11 to 52 meters already felt better.
