On December 4th I went to the Yanchep National Park with
Monika and Dina for a bushwalk and a picknick. The park is about 70
kilometers north of Perth. Apart from a good place for bushwalks
and picknick you can also view Koalas, Caves and Aboriginal
culture in the park. |

West of Auckland (NZ) are the Waitakere Ranges that I
visited during my first weekend in New Zealand. A National
Park with stunning views at the Tasman Sea coast and beautiful
bushwalks that bring you to Cascades and Waterfalls. At points in
these walks you can have views of Auckland and the surrounding area.

After being in Auckland for more then a week I had to go and
meet users in Napier. I decided to go there by car and drove
the 500 kilometers in two days during the weekend. I had a stop in
Roterua where I watched a Maori dance and music show during
a dinner cooked in a steam oven. On Sunday I walked through the
thermal wonders of the Wai-O-Tapu valley. |

Arriving in Perth on November 6th, I first started with a free weekend
and with my colleague Dina I explored the environment of the City:
Mandurah, dinner in Rockingham, whale wathing from Freemantle and
an unexpected meeting with Monica in Perth.
But then the work started with solving some application setup issues,
analysing the business process of a company not standard to the SGS
Group and helping users sorting out the services to use and setting up
Price Lists.
In the past 2 months I traveled to Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CN), Perth,
Melbourne, Adelaide, Auckland (NZ) and Napier (NZ).
After work and during the weekends I was able to explore these cities and
the surrounding country sides which I enjoyed very much.
A quiet Christmas in Perth allowed me to update this site!
