For the second time we met at the trainstation in Driebergen but left into the opposite direction from the last time.

When we reached the village of Odijk we followed the borders of the beautiful river Kromme Rijn.
On our way to Werkhoven we found out the selected road was private and we had to turn back to Odijk and find a different route.

From Werkhoven we walked south to the border of the Ansterdam - Rhine shipping canal and followed the borders of the canal in a north-westerly direction to Utrecht.

After we entered the city of Utrecht we left the canal to find our way to the city center where we celebrated the end of another succesfull training hike with some wine on a terrace at the Oudegracht.
